Bailey case study wins double whammy at Best of British Manufacturing IT Awards

Best of British Awards 2007A case study written and submitted by Martin Bailey to the Best of British Manufacturing IT awards has won - both in its own category and as the overall winner.  The awards were in relation to massive savings demonstrated in the case study of production management software in use at Delta Design, a manufacturer of warning beacons.

The case study was written on behalf of Rent-IT Systems UK Limited, for which Martin Bailey is the Marketing Manager. It focused on an installation of their 123mrp.NET software at Delta Design, based in Hertfordshire.

The Manufacturing Computer Solutions' annual Best of British Manufacturing IT challenge is aimed at recognising the very best IT strategies and implementations in British manufacturing industry. The Awards are about promoting the critical business value of IT, across functions and departments, in underpinning and enabling superior business processes, competitiveness and profitability for UK plc.

Rent-IT Systems UK Ltd won in the face of stiff competition from industry leading companies such as Dassault Systemes, UGS, Autodesk, Sage, Siemens, Oracle and Microsoft.

The award ceremony was held at the Motor Heritage Museum in Gaydon, Warwickshire on 23rd May 2007 and presented by Manufacturing Computer Solutions Editor Brian Tinham.
