Winner and Finalist awards at IT Europa 2016

Martin Bailey commissioned to write two new books in 2016

thumb useful book gadgetsCheshunt-based author Martin Bailey has been commissioned to write two new IT-related books in 2016 by leading publishing house Management Books 2000 Ltd.

The first book, as yet untitled, will focus on building websites using the Joomla! Content Management System (CMS), which will be Bailey’s third on the topic. It will be split into theoretical chapters, which take the reader through the process of building a site from scratch, and examples of existing sites with specific functionality such as shopping carts or discussion forums.

The second book, with a current working title of ‘The useful book of gadgets, gizmos and apps’ will feature dozens of items to help with day-to-day tasks. Examples include streaming movies to multiple devices in your car, fixing Wi-Fi problems in the home, various low-cost or free computer software utilities and many additional uses for your smartphone.

Two nominations in IT Europa Awards

iteuropa awards 2015Two submissions by Martin Bailey have been shortlisted for the IT Europa Awards, with the winners to be announced in London on 25th March 2015. JETCAM was nominated for CrossTrack in the Vertical Market Solution of the Year, and 123insight was nominated for ERP/CRP/Rlationship Solution of the Year.
